Installation in der Ausstellung

Namibische Popmusik aus der Zeit von 1950 bis 1980 wurde vom südafrikanischen Apartheid-Regime unterdrückt, die Musikerinnen und Musiker wurden in die Bedeutungslosigkeit gedrängt. Viele Lieder sind verloren gegangen. Das Archivierungs-und Ausstellungsprojekt „Stolen Moments. Namibian Music History Untold“ hat Songs und Liedermacherinnen und Liedermacher der Vergangenheit entrissen.

Die Ausstellung „Stolen Moments. Namibian Music History Untold“ ist noch bis zum 21. November 2021 in den Stuttgarter Wagenhallen zu sehen und ist täglich von 11-20 Uhr geöffnet.
